Caitlin is getting so much better at steering Rocky, who can be stubborn at times. Today she was all on her own, maneuvering Rocky around cones and over obstacles.
She told Mrs Patty that she wanted to gallop and even though she's not ready for that yet, Patty held on to the reins and ran with Rocky so Caitlin could "gallop." Caitlin quickly realized she's not really ready for that but she enjoyed it.
Mrs Patty took her out into the open ring to do some more obstacles. Because it is not fenced in, you have to be able to control the horse better. (They behave better if they know they are fenced in.) She rode Rocky up on steps and down ramps.
