Woo Hoo!

I sent off my final payment on my car today.  YAY!!  Now all we owe on is the house.  I love it!

One Step Ahead

Okay, so I got a sales magazine in the mail yesterday from One Step Ahead.  They sell all kinds of cool baby stuff - much of it for safety.  There were SO many amazing things in there and I just have to share.  I'm NOT going to buy all of them or even most of them, but I definitely have to get some.  :)

Cool Outdoor Things:
Loving this baby pool!!  I've never seen anything like it.


This pop up pool would make dumping the pool so easy!  And it folds up and can be taken with you other places.

I can imagine lots of picnics for the girls on this picnic table.

This bag would make beach or pool going so easy.  The sand and water would just filter out.

Bumbo

Alaina LOVES to sit up and see what's going on around her.  She is a very social baby.  She doesn't like to be ignored.  My good friend, Lila, let me borrow her Bumbo seat and it is the best thing ever.  (Thanks Lila!!)  Alaina LOVES it!!  A few days ago, I put her in it on my dining room table, also known as the laundry folding area of the house.  I talked to her while I folded laundry and she thought it was awesome.  She'll be sitting up on her own in no time!

First Giggles

Thursday night, Rusty was playing with Alaina and she started giggling.  She is always so happy and responds to us by smiling all the time, but this was her first laugh.  It's towards the end - sorry I don't know how to edit the video.

BounceU

Caitlin was invited to a birthday party for one of her friends from school, Ava.  It was at BounceU and that place is always a blast.  They had so much fun!

Spring Cuties

I know you can't tell from these pictures, but Alaina is a very happy, smiley baby.  For some reason, though, when I pull out the camera, she gives me this stone cold look.  As soon as I put the camera away, she's back to smiling.  Ergh!

Not a fan of daylight savings . . .

For the past few days, Caitlin has been waking up herself to an alarm clock.  This morning I noticed that she didn't get up so I went to see what happened.

Caitlin:  My timer woke me up in the middle of the night.
Shannon:  Baby your alarm went off four mintues ago. It's time to get up.
Caitlin:  But it's dark outside. Is school in the middle of the night now?

I didn't even try to explain daylight savings time to her.  It doesn't make sense to me.  Her school is having the Tooth Fairy come to visit so she decided that's why she had to get up in the dark - because the Tooth Fairy only comes at night.  Makes sense to me!!

3 Months Old

Oh and did I mention . . .

Alaina is sleeping through the night now???  For 5 nights now, she has slept over 9 hours, so I think we are safe to say it!  This morning, Rusty has to wake her up to go the YMCA at 9am!!

The Swing

Alaina LOVES her swing.  It makes her so happy when the music and lights are on!
