Play dates

Once I started to feel human again, it worked out that each girl got to have a play date with a friend at the same time.  Alaina went to her school friend Harper's house and got to have a great time!  Then I took Caitlin and her friend Allison ice skating.

 

Christmas Morning

I was sick for over a week at Christmas.  I didn't get a whole lot done but Christmas morning was still successful!  The girls loved all their gifts and were very grateful!

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve, the girls get to open one gift.  It is always some new pajamas and something else, usually a movie or book.  This year, I got the girls new robes.  They LOVED them!

Merry Christmas

I love creating our Christmas card each year.  It was so hectic, that I seriously thought about not doing one this year, but I'm glad we did.

I hadn't slept well Saturday night so I took a nap after church.  When I woke up, I caught the girls making masterpieces!  They even got it out and later cleaned it all up by themselves!!

Cookies

Ben & Stephanie invited us over to decorate Christmas cookies on Friday.  The girls had so much fun being creative and spending time with Ben & Steph.  We even turned it into a challenge and had Ben be the judge of the best cookies.

Moana

This girl loves to sing and dance and make videos!

 

 

Dust Bunnies

Caitlin had a school project where she had to try to sell a new item using persuasive writing.  She came up with the idea, pictures, and text and I did the slideshow work.  She got a 100 on it!

Christmas Program

Alaina's Christmas program was so cute!

 

This poor kid in front of Alaina was having a hard time.  :(

 

My phone ran out of space and I was able to capture the end or the song Alaina was featured on.  They sang "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth" and had the kids missing teeth stand in the front.  It was hilarious!

Birthday

Alaina could NOT wait to open her present from us on her birthday.  She just had to know what was in that big box.

 

She's been wanting the Snackin Sara Baby Alive doll and was so excited!

What's even funnier is Caitlin's face in the background.  All of Alaina's baby dolls creep her out and she looks disgusted.  Ha!

When I was tucking Alaina in, she told me that I had done good with the present and that it was perfect!

 

Alaina got to pick where we went to dinner and of course picked Dairy Queen!

Bridge Kickover

Finally, she was able to do the Bridge Kickover from flat on the floor.  I had been videoing her the whole night and of course missed when she actually did it.  :(

And she completely refused to smile normally for me, so I hope she likes this picture in her scrapbook years from now!
