Field Trip

Alaina went on a field trip last week to the Wilderness Station.  Her favorite parts were the owl, Rusty getting to go with her and being with her friends.  She also love the stuffed owl that Rusty bought her at the end.  :)

Caitlin has been riding with our neighbor to school each day since it got cold.  She loves having friends so close by!

Texting

Oh thank goodness we have unlimited texting.  Caitlin has now entered into the texting her friends phase.

Caitlin only has one more performance - Saturday night.  She is going to miss this crew!! 

 

 

Sick baby

This poor baby has been sick lately.  She had a fever Thursday night and ended up missing school on Friday.  Still had a fever off and on Saturday and has to miss two birthday parties.  She was better Monday and was able to go to school but last night, she woke me in the middle of the night complaining of an ear ache.  She was fine this morning, but we just got a call from the school that she has a fever again and a headache.

Boys and Ghouls (School Play) performance

Caitlin's spring play will be Boys and Ghouls Together.  Synopsis:  the present day descendants of Count Dracula and Doctor Frankenstein are looking for a husband for their daughter. they turn their castle into a youth hostel and await their first guests who turn out to be a group of Americans. they think that Buddy will be the ideal candidate.
The play is double casted and the only date she will be performing as of now is Friday, May 13th.

Clara & Zoe's

  

Alaina got to spend some time at Clara and Zoe's this weekend.  Shauna just spoils her and she loves it!!

Tom Sawyer - performance night

Caitlin had SO much fun on their first performance night.  A lot of the cast went to dairy queen after and Caitlin begged to go.  I was relegated to the adult table but she said it was the best day of her life!

Caitlin will definitely audition for more parts at Springhouse Theater.  They've all treated her so well and she has had the BEST experience!!

Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal was long but fun.  That day, Caitlin had school until 3, school play practice until 5, then had to be at dress rehearsal for Tom Sawyer at 5:30-10.  We joked that it was the longest day of her life.  But she loved every minute of it!
