Happy Runniversary!!

Today marks one year since I have been running so I added up the number of miles from my tracker.
412.3 miles in my first year.

That is crazy!  I can't say that I have loved every minute of it, but I can say that I never regret a run.  I love proving to myself that I can do something.  My goal this year is to run a half marathon.  My training for that starts tomorrow.  I was going to run the Middle Half in Murfreesboro.  I've registered for it already.  But then I realized that it is the Saturday that we come back from Destin.  Oops!

So, I haven't been able to find a replacement race that isn't crazy expensive so I think I will just run my own half.  I'm going to just do my training plan like normal and maybe run it while I am in Destin.  We will see.

Anyway, here's to many more years!!

Virginia Visit

Caitlin and I just got back today from visiting Lara & Jeff in Virginia.  It was a quick but fun trip.  We got to love on Harrison and Leo and that was awesome!!
We took a late flight Thursday night and got to Virginia at 11pm.  Caitlin made a friend while waiting for our flight.  They sat together and played the whole way.

Caitlin was great with the boys.  Harrison loved her and they played well together (except for the accidental head but and black eye).  LOL

Aren't these the cutest toes??

We went to an indoor pool the first day and we were having so much fun I forgot to take pictures.  Then we went to a living museum.

We played in turtles.

Petted some crustaceans.

Admired the huge fish.

We watched otters swim and do tricks.

Loved the turtles!

Did you know turtles ate salads?  They love carrots, tomatoes and lettuce!

The jellyfish looked cool!

And we found Nemo.

Later Caitlin played outside with Harrison.  She decided she would climb a tree.

We also made it to the beach.

We played for about an hour until the bottom dropped out of the sky and POURED!!  I'm sure we looked pretty funny, Lara & I, as we ran back the half mile to the car with two kids, two bags of stuff, two chairs and a boogie board!

We also took some pictures of baby Leo.  You've got to see them - he is precious!!!
