I took the week of Spring Break off and did fun things with the girls around town. We went to Opry Mills mall, rode the carousel, went to Build a Bear, got candy.
This was at a toy store. The had lots of toys out and set up so the kids could play - SMART!
Alaina loved this doll house that was taller than her.
Caitlin loves Build A Bear. She spent her allowance and Easter money (thanks grandparents!) on a new horse.
Then they played in the play area.
Riding the carousel. I tried to let them go themselves (I get so dizzy on that dang thing!) but they made me ride with Alaina.
Monday night, Caitlin really wanted a sleepover. So we invited the 3 girls over. They all did really well playing together. They all even included Alaina. All 5 girls slept in sleeping bags on the floor of Caitlin's room.
Eating microwave smores.
Alaina became the little mascot of the evening. She enjoyed being the center of attention in this game of hit-me-in-the-face/head-with-a-big-exercise-ball.
And here are all the girls dancing -
One night we had dinner at ihop. Here's Alaina telling me some elaborate story -
Tuesday, we went to Chuck E Cheese. Alaina loved this car ride.
Ice cream afterwards -
Wednesday, we went to Discovery Center. Both girls LOVED all the stuff that they could play on and interact with. They had this huge playhouse that Alaina wanted to spend the whole day in.
They even had animals!
Next day, we hit up the jumpy place. The girls ran around and got worn out. Always a good thing!
I also took the girls to the Dollar Store to get a few toys. The Flarp was fun . . . until Caitlin got it stuck in her hair. Think giant bubble gum in hair! It wasn't pretty!!
