Sweet, But Scary!

Rusty took the girls with him to get his hair cut.  Caitlin got hers trimmed too.  Alaina was happy while Caitlin had hers done.  Then it was Rusty's turn, so Alaina sat in the carseat.  Rusty heard her fussing a little but she was okay.  Next thing you know, he sees Caitlin holding her up on her shoulder patting her on her back and saying, "It's okay."  (Just like mommy and daddy do it)  She had gone and picked up Alaina and was comforting her.  This was SO sweet and yet SO scary when he told me.  So scary because Alaina is a big baby and Caitlin has only held her under our supervision, sitting down.  But so sweet that her big sister wanted to comfort her and didn't want her to be unhappy.  It's been two months and there hasn't yet been a single incident where Caitlin complained about the baby crying or how much of our time she takes up.  She has been nothing but loving and a great big sister.  We are so lucky to have two wonderful girls - I thank God every day for them!!
