Spring Break-Cozumel, Mexico

The next day was Cozumel, Mexico.  I found a beach that had a pool and was only $3 per person.  The girls were excited about the pool.  I tried to get a picture before we got in the cab but didn't realize my finger was in the way.  Ugh!

Paradise Beach was awesome! The pool was very kid friendly and had lots of shallow spots to play in as well as deep.

I'm not sure why Alaina tries to look tough in all of her pictures but these show their opposite personalities!  Alaina is a stubborn bruiser and Caitlin doesn't have a care in the world.

Caitlin was tired from too much sun and stayed in the room while Alaina and I went to dinner.

This steak was huge before she started eating!

Then we went back to the room and grabbed Caitlin for the movie.  I love that some of the Carnival ships at outdoor theaters.  It was SO nice to sit out under the stars, with an ocean breeze and watch a few movies.  The girls loved it!  Caitlin and I watched Jurassic World while Alaina mostly played in the hot tubs.

Spring Break-Progreso, Mexico

The next morning, we were in Progreso, Mexico.  It's a port made by the cruiseline so I had found a beach nearby that we could take a shuttle to.  The girls, however, were not thrilled about that.  Instead, they wanted to shop in town.  So after breakfast, we walked into town and did some souvenir shopping.

We stopped at a store that had these cute bracelets.  We were amazed that they had Caitlin's name, spelled correctly!  So we looked and could not find an Alaina.  A guy came over to help us.  He couldn't find an Alaina.  He had me write it down and asked Alaina what colors she liked.  Then he went back and made her one.  The girls LOVE them!!

After our shopping, we went back to the boat for some fun in the pool and waterslide.

Alaina had fun at dinner trying more new things - lemon and steak.  She had steak EVERY night and killed it!

For dessert, she just wanted some vanilla ice cream.  The waitress immediately won her over when she brought this one out!

After dinner, and seeing what our towel animal was, we went to the game show, which Caitlin excitedly signed up for.  It was a trivia game and she was quickly glad she wasn't chosen, since she knew very few of the answers.  It was fun to watch, though!

Spring Break-first sea day

I bought a selfie stick so I could make sure to get some pictures of us all together.  This was the one and only time it has been used.  LOL

Our day at sea was full of relaxation, sun, ice cream cones, food, ice cream cones, laughter and ice cream cones.

That night was formal night.  We all got dressed up and went and had some pictures made.  I was actually going to buy a cruise picture for the first time in 7 cruises but they were very much photoshopped and we all looked like plastic.  Bummer because they were actually cute pics.  I'm glad I snapped one quick one with my iphone so I at least got one of the girls.

We went to our sit down dinner and met another couple with their son.  We sat with them each night and it was actually fun.  Alaina was very opened minded on this trip and tried shrimp cocktail and broccoli.  She didn't mind them!

But the molten lava cake was the best!!  I had it 3 of the 5 nights we were there!

Alaina got the lava cake AND a banana split!

We went to the kid friendly comedy show.  Caitlin loved it.  Alaina didn't get it but endured it anyway.

We got back to our room to find a puppy dog and I love that our cabin steward had some fun with Alaina's dolls!
