Bahamas Cruise

We had such a fun time with Brandon and Marisa on the cruise!

Why won't he pose for a picture?

Jacksonville was a very easy port to get in and out of.  There is only one ship that leaves from here so the parking is on site and not crowded at all.

View from our balcony

Since technically this was their honeymoon, the waiter sang to them.  He was a nut ball!

Day 1 was a day at sea.  We ate, lounged, ate, lounged, etc.

Day 2 was supposed to be Half Moon Cay, one of our favorite islands ever.  But the water was too choppy to safely tender to the shore.  We drove right past it and had another day at sea.

The slides on the boat were fun.

Day 3 was at Nassau, Bahamas.

In Nassau, we went to the Atlantis Resort.  They have an awesome water park.

They had this huge chair.  So we posed for some pictures.

Brandon took our picture and left us this as a present.

Walking through the resort, we pass this Aquarium so we looked while we waited for the water park to open.

This fish was bigger than Marisa!

The waterpark was awesome.  Rusty and Brandon wanted us to go on this Leap of Faith.  Uh NO!

And Rusty in Slo Mo . . .
I was just fine with watching that ride! I had no desire to do that one.

Some of the other rides:
The Surge

The Drop

The Challenger

The Drop (again)

But my favorite was the Lazy River.
To go one time around probably took about 20 minutes and it had rapids.  It was amazing!

The resort was beautiful and I would definitely go back if we have a chance!

Dinner that night -

Do you see how many appetizers Brandon has?  That would be 5.  He can eat!!

Day 4 was supposed to be a sea day but since we missed Half Moon Cay, they added a stop at Freeport, Bahamas.  As soon as we got off the ship to figure out what to do, it started pouring.  So we just got back on the ship and got in the covered hot tub.
