First Swim of the Summer

The Saturday before Memorial Day, we were able to go to the pool for the first time this summer.  It warm enough to lay out but way too cold for me to get in.  Alaina didn't seem to mind it at all.  Caitlin got in at first and decided it was too cold.

 

 

Mother's Day

I missed the school's Mother's Day program because I was in Las Vegas.  Luckily, Aunt Kara filled in.  But I loved getting this questionnaire filled with Alaina's answers.

Walks

Lately, we have been taking advantage of the good weather.  We will walk to the park (or the girls might ride bikes), play and then walk back. 

 

Alaina has trouble with her "th" sounds.  She says them with an "f" sound.  It's cute but we've been working on saying it correctly.  This is her practicing.

Shopping

Rusty and I recently, we went shopping at Opry Mills with just us and Alaina.  Alaina enjoyed our attempts at entertaining her.  She enjoyed the bear.

I went to Las Vegas for a work conference.  Rusty came for the golf.

We stayed at the Palazzo again.  It is so pretty!

Our room was amazing and I was happy with any downtime just chilling in the peace and quiet!

We got to see the Scotts while we were there.

We ate lots of yummy food while we were there.  I got to try In-n-out and Café Rio for the first time.
