St. Croix

St. Croix was our first stop from the cruise.

While here, we took an ATV excursion with Gecko Adventures, run by a wonderful couple from Denver, Colorado.  It was AWESOME!!

The views were nice to see on the way and then we start climbing and you start to see the most amazing view.

Of course, we had to stop to really appreciate it!

I would move here tomorrow if I could!

Our Cruise

We cruised on Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas.  It was an older ship but you wouldn't know by looking at it.  We were impressed by everything it had!

Puerto Rico

We just got back from the most FABULOUS vacation we have ever had.  With the Meikles, we drove to Atanta and flew to Puerto Rico, where we took our cruise.

 We tried to drive the first day down Old San Juan but there was some festival going on and we were stuck in traffic for over an hour.  At least I had this pretty view!

While in Puerto Rico, we did a BioBay excursion.  It was very cool! 

Puerto Rico has a bay that contains single-celled bioluminescent organisms. These half-plant, half-animal organisms emit a flash of bluish light when agitated at night. The high concentration of these creatures can create enough light to read a book from.

So as you paddle in the kayak or touch the water, you can see a glow.  It is unlike anything else I have ever seen!
