Spring Break - Adventure Forest

The girls LOVED the adventure park.  It had a rock wall, a ropes course, video games, a small ride, a laser maze, bowling, laser tag and mini golf.  They did the rock wall and the ropes course the most.  The wall had 4 tracks, the right side being the easiest.  After one day, Alaina made it to the top.  Then repeated that multiple times throughout the trip.  On day 3, Caitlin made it to the top of the left side, the hardest level, surprising us all.  She said, "You know, I just had to focus and then I was able to do it." Life lesson for her as I pointed out that she could do so many other things too with that mindset!

 

I started out on this ropes course with the girls.  Uh, it was high (it had 3 levels) and even though you're roped in, I did not enjoy being over all the arcade games and people, having nothing to hold on to.  So I quickly went back down and took pictures of the girls.  They were fearless and loved it!

Spring Break - Indoor Waterpark

The indoor waterpark was lots of fun.  There were 4 slides, a wave pool, body surfing, huge indoor/outdoor hot tub, pool with basketball, kid play area, etc. 

 

Alaina ended up loving the wave pool the best.  She would dive head first into the waves and by the end of the trip didn't need her goggles.  She also rode all of the water slides.  She used to be afraid of everything and now is a complete dare devil.  She even went on things I didn't want to go on!

Spring Break - Wilderness of the Smokies

We got away for a few days for Spring Break.  I just wanted to go somewhere close to swim and have fun.  So we went to Sevierville and stayed at Wilderness of the Smokies.  They have an indoor waterpark and an indoor adventure park.  The waterpark was included with the room so it seemed like a good deal.

My Saturday morning routine is this:
1. sleep in as long as possible (usually 8am is as long as I can make it)
2. take a bath as long as possible

So while I was in the bath Saturday, I kept hearing crashes and bangs.  I knew it was Alaina (either dancing or doing gymnastics) because I rarely see Caitlin on a weekend before 10am.

So I text Alaina.  I abbreviated "through" just to be quicker and she thought it was hilarious.  Her voice recording said this, "Ha Ha Ha, your spelling of through" and then she corrected it for me.
