Going home

We drove home from Ft Lauderdale all in one day.  There was a LOT of traffic and it seemed to take forever!  Luckily, the girls slept a lot of it and didn't ask "Are we there yet?" a million times!

It was so much fun and the girls can't wait to go on their next cruise!!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Half Moon Cay is owned by Holland America.  It is completely private and beautiful!  The cruiseline even provided a lunch on the beach.  Perfect day!!

That night was the finale of Dancing with the Stars at Sea.  Pat and Emily both had made it into the finals.  It was great fun to watch!

Emily didn't win but she did SO great!  The guy that did win gave her the medal and told her that she should have won.  And that he couldn't have done what she did.  I was a proud aunt!

Second Sea Day, Thanksgiving

Our second sea day was Thanksgiving.  I can't think of a better way to spend it - on a cruise!

This poor guy was trying to make an ice sculpture.  Twice, he knocked off part that he didn't mean to.  I don't know for a fact, but I think he cursed in his language.  It ended up being an eagle, sort of.  It was one of the worse ice sculptures I've ever seen.

The kids liked playing with the leftover ice.

They even tried hitting it and sculpting it themselves.

We scheduled a one on one session with the magician.  The kids LOVED getting to see some new tricks.

That night was the second formal night.  Look at these cuties!
