Our Weekend

Rusty was out of town this weekend so it was just me and my girls.  Caitlin had a theater workshop so Alaina and I went to the park and ran some errands.

Then we played outside.  Look at these cuties!

Alaina built some towers.  She wanted me to take some pictures of them.

And we built puzzles.

Then on Sunday, we had the primary program.  Alaina was PERFECT!!!  I was really worried about her.  In 4 practices, she only said her part once.  But she woke up Sunday and was excited about saying her part.  She sat on the front pew until it was time for her class to come up on the stand.

Then when it was her turn, she said her part perfectly and sat down.  She was reverent the whole time.  I was so proud!!!

Wednesday Night Game - Caitlin

Caitlin has been wanting eye black for a while now.  We finally got her some this week.  I think she feels tougher with it on!

She got to play 2nd base last night and LOVED it!!

She only got to bat once and got a walk.

Then she stole all the way around, getting tagged out at home.  :(

They won the game 7-2.

Wednesday Night Game - Alaina

Alaina did AWESOME last night!!  No tears the whole time and she had a big smile on her face.  She's finally loving softball!

This is the first time she wanted to carry her ball bag.

Alaina LOVES to stick her head out the window and feel the wind in her face.  Normally she will also stick her tongue out, looking completely like a puppy dog.  I didn't catch it quick enough on camera.  She was on to the fact that I was taking her picture!

Makeup games

The girls has makeup games over the weekend.  Alaina's was very successful.  No tears the WHOLE time!!!

Caitlin's game was a close one.  I didn't get any pictures or video because Alaina was playing with my phone.  Caitlin didn't feel well and had stomach cramps the whole time, but her first at-bat she got a hit.  She ended up with a double.  She stole third base.  Then on another passed ball, the coach sent her home.  She didn't make it in time but slid again and did great.  She got bruised up from the slide so I think we are going to have to get her some sliding shorts.

The game was 0-0 for 4 innings.  We ended up in a tie breaker and won it 1-0.  10U Commodores are now in 1st place!

ROC race

Rusty and I ran in the ROC race on Saturday morning.  It was SO much fun!!
