Okay, I know this is a horrible picture. Ben took it with his cell phone and I rec'd it as a text at work. It is hilarious!! I don't know if you can tell, but there are two little legs, wearing Crocs, sticking out from under a dust ruffle. This is where Caitlin decided to fall asleep today - UNDER THE BED!!! Too funny!!

The latest Caitlin-ism

"Mom, I've never seen dragonflies. I didn't even know that dragons could fly." And then her very next sentence was, "And Zebras sure can kick."

Love Family Tradition

It's tradition for the Love family to go shooting at the holidays. Not sure why, we don't hunt or kill anything, but we love to shoot large guns. :) So at Thanksgiving, we took all our toys out to shoot. Caitlin stayed in the car watching movies until everyone was done.

After all the shooting was done, Caitlin came out to play. We let her wear the ear protection and hold an UNLOADED gun.

Caitlin and Noah

I took some pictures of Caitlin and Noah over Thanksgiving. Caitlin was fine with hugging Noah but for some reason didn't like it when he hugged her. What a funny girl!

Another funny . . .

Rusty was watching Caitlin this morning and she wanted something to eat. He told her to wait a minute and she said, "Oh for goodness sake, I'll get it myself." Wow, the teenage attitude already!!!

Through the eyes of a 3-year old

Lately Caitlin has been talking about wanting a brother or a sister (probably because a lot of her friends have younger siblings now). Recently I asked her if she wanted mommy to have a baby in her belly. She told me that she wanted one boy and one girl. And that it was okay because my belly was big enough to hold both!!

And then today, she almost fell in the toilet and she said that her booty wasn't big enough to fit on the toilet very well, but that mine was. And that when she's bigger, her booty will be big like mine and fit on the toilet!! I think I'm starting to get a complex!!

This is just a phase, this is just a phase, this is just a phase

I keep repeating that to myself. Caitlin has been on a terror lately. She keeps getting in to stuff that she knows she's not supposed to. Today Rusty found sharpie all over the house! He asked her where she got the pen and she said innocently, "In my backpack." So he said, "Show me." Also, in her little pack was scissors, a permanent marker, and some of mommy's business cards. I guess she's going to work for me. We got through the terrible twos thinking what a little angel she was. Well, the threes have hit and I am so ready for four!!! So anyone have a magic fix to take off Sharpie from walls, doors and hardwood floors?

Family Home Evening

Okay, so we tried Family Home Evening for the first time with Caitlin on Monday night. Attention span = 2 minutes. Hopefully, it will get better. For those of you reading who don't know what I am talking about, out church has family nights, called Family Home Evening. We normally set aside Monday nights to spend time together, have a lesson, play games, eat treats, etc. The purpose is to strengthen families, draw closer to Heavenly Father, and encourage each other to live righteously.

Aunt Heather and Uncle Ben

Heather and Ben dropped by today to see Caitlin, who loved having an excuse to get up from her nap. :) She loved playing with them. These were cute pictures of her attacking Heather in the grass.

And then she tried to attack Ben, but he was standing up, so it didn't work.

The Zoo

A couple weeks ago, I found myself with a rare free Saturday and decided to take Caitlin to the zoo. She LOVES animals and was so excited!! All she talked about when we got there was seeing the elephants and giraffes. And of course, those were last to see.

She loved the petting zoo part. She wanted to ride the animals as well, but that was not allowed. I was glad because those animals stunk!!

Here's Caitlin and Aunt Natalie.

She loved the aquarium part where you could see all the snakes, spiders and fish. She kept trying to "hug" the turtles.

Caitlin loved seeing the owl up close. She wanted to hold him. She isn't afraid of anything!
